The M400 offers many ways to control the operation, be it via voice recognition, touchpad or built-in navigation buttons - robust enough for everyday use.

IP67, IEC60601-2:2014

shockproof up to a drop height of two meters onto concrete, protected against water jets, dustproof, marked as a medical device according to IEC60601-2:2014 and can be used at temperatures from -20 to +45 degrees Celsius.

Voice & touchpad, button operation

The Vuzix M400 can be operated either by voice, touchpad or button control and is therefore suitable for any environment

Compatible with safety equipment

Can be combined with safety helmets, safety caps and safety goggles.

Technology for a wide range of applications

The battery life is between 2-12 hours depending on which external battery you choose. The external battery is replaceable and the Vuzix M400 has a power manager with integrated "hot swappable" function. This means that the battery can be replaced during operation without having to restart applications or the wearable.

No SDK necessary

No separate SDK kit is required. For example, you can install apps on the Vuzix M400 using the supplied Vuzix Viewer, a desktop application for Windows® and iOS®.
